CO-DESIGN WEEK

The Co-Design week was held for NUS Biomedical Engineering students to solve prominent problems in the elderly society in the Queenstown district. The 1 week event sees students talking to the elderly and understanding their plight and problems during their daily activities. After which, students come up with solutions that help tackle these problems that the elderly face. The unique position of the Co-Design week is that the elderly with the problem is heavily involved in the solution seeking process by the students, and gives valuable feedback to allow custom tailored solutions for the elderly. At the end of the Co-Design week, our students had created many useful solutions that were commended and appreciated by the elderly.
